Greek organizations are values-based organizations. Every organization holds certain values close to their heart - you can find these values declared in their individual creeds or statements of purpose. Transylvania University's Panhellenic has adopted a values-based recruitment to emphasize these elements and ensure that each potential new member has an equally rewarding and life changing experience. This kind of recruitment promotes conversations between chapter members and potential new members about organizational values, personal values, and the member experience. Instead of using materialistic items such as extravagant decor or dress, chapters at Transylvania are challenged to have meaningful conversations and build deeper relationships between chapter members and PNMs. With all of that being said, we are all bound together by larger Panhellenic values. The Panhellenic Creed is a statement of what sorority life stands for and what it means to be a sorority woman. You will find that no matter the chapter, sorority women at Transy are united in this larger Panhellenic purpose.
